What a busy week

this was. We returned from the memorial services in Colorado for my Mother-in-law. It was fabulous to spend time with family even though the reason we were all together was not a happy one. It was also a nice break from the heat for us. Now back in Arizona and back to work. It was a busy one there too. And then on Wednesday one of our air conditioners died. Fortunately, our house is set up with two, so we blanketed off a doorway and are living on one side of the house still. Hubby diagnosed it after his return on Thursday, but unfortunately the part he picked up was the wrong one and the part store is closed until Monday. Hope they will exchange it, but we should be back to full AC conditions soon.

So, this was the final farewell spot for Ray. The family has marked her place next for Frank’s which was placed five years ago. This was a favorite spot of theirs. Such a nice peaceful place.

And here are some sweet little faces being showcased in some of Splendid Fiins new @ the office papers. Be sure to stop by over at JessicaSprague.com and check out the new goodies for MISM.

Of course, we’ve been a little busy shopping for college dorm supplies now too. Hopefully, this week will calm down just a little and I can go back and work on the Art of Digital Design, working through all the notes again, put some finishing touches on my first design and submit for review and take the exam. Looking forward to getting a little playtime for me.

It has been a rather rough week. I learned that a co-worker lost his sister this week and then my friend Joan (known to many of you as Bestsides) lost her mother. Having experienced a recent loss myself, I send out my heartfelt condolences. Hugs to you and your families.
