Survived Orientation

It is good to be home. Monday and Tuesday I had the honor of accompanying my daughter to her college orientation. Two full days of shuttling between presentations for parents, parents and students, and student meetings. There is something refreshing about seeing all these young folks and the wonderful casual appeal of a college campus. There is much for her to look forward to, and plenty of adjustments to be made by both of us. Fortunately, she will be in state; but not close enough to see everyday. Do you see tears in my near future?

  1. Oh Lisa, you are both gonna make it. Your “baby” may be growing up or growing new wings but she has all the words of wisdom from mom and your unwavering love & support. {hugs} Joan (miss you in the design class…you are so quiet and/or really busy getting dd ready!)
